Periotherapia Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has received the O-NEXUS Award, provided by partner organization O-Nexus, at the Luncheon Pitch of the EU-Japan Biotech & Pharma Partnering Conference, held on October 5, 2026 at Hotel Hankyu International in Osaka.
The Luncheon Pitch is a lunchtime pitch competition in which selected Japanese and European biotech startups participating in the conference present their innovative technologies, products, and business opportunities in five-minute pitches in English. Awards provided by partner organizations are presented to selected companies. The conference is an international partnering event bringing together companies, research institutions, and clusters from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors in Europe and Japan. It is co-organized by the Osaka Prefectural Government, the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation, and the Enterprise Europe Network.
The O-NEXUS Award provides one year of access to the coworking space at O-Nexus, a life science-focused innovation campus located in Nakanoshima Qross, together with opportunities to connect with O-Nexus’s life science ecosystem in Japan and internationally.
Kensei Sakata, Head of Clinical Development, delivered the pitch, presenting Periotherapia’s work on PT0101, an antibody therapeutic candidate targeting the tumor microenvironment, with the aim of overcoming resistance to cancer treatment.
